In-house to both the Panjim Inn and the Panjim Pousada Original Work by Local and Overseas Artists Sprawl over the Entire Premises. They Spill Across Corridors and Public Areas and even Extend to Guest Rooms. A Striking Display Area is the Chowk of the Pousada where Paintings grace the White Walls of the Squarish. Verandah Circling the Tulus. The Brown Terracotta Double Tiles of the Verandah Roof, the Red IPS Floor and a Curious Mix of Artificial and Natural Light filtering thru’ the open “Chowk” has a Surreal Effect on the Art on Display.

Painters on Exhibit include Gopal Adivrekar, Mohan Naik, Sonia Rodrigues, Francis D’Souza, Jayashree Patankar, Hondu Gaunkar, Robert Geesink, Arya , Dietrich Kerky, Suhas Shilker and Shilpa Pandit Patole. They have won Acclaim Locally and Some are Well Known Overseas, having had Successful Shows Abroad as well. Work at the Gallery is Abstract and Realistic in Colour and Oil, Including Collages and Landscapes.

The Refurbishing of the Panjim Inn and Panjim Pousada has been a Continuously Evolving Exercise and Over Time the Gallery has Acquired Experience in the Restoration of Period Furniture and Various Collectibles like Old Porcelain, China, Art and Glass Ware. Sharing Ideas with the Like Minded would add to our knowledge in an Area that has Given us much of Pleasure and Satisfaction.
